$10 MILLION IN ILLEGAL WEED CONFISCATED

The Michigan State Police raided an unlicensed grow operation on Tuesday in Webber Township, Lake County which resulted in the seizure of more than 13,4000 illegal plants valued at over $10 Million.

The illegal operation was housed in a building spanning more than 17,000 square feet on 19 acres.

MSP say multiple people were arrested at the location and that the suspects, nor property have valid licenses through the Cannabis Regulatory Agency.

Police said cannabis from illegal operations often contains harmful substances, including hazardous chemicals, pesticides, mold and heavy metals that pose health risks to consumers.
