Detroit Police are looking for the driver who caused a deadly crash on the city’s east side Saturday night.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at Chalmers and Seymour. Investigators say the driver ran a red light, slamming into two vehicles. A passenger in one of those vehicles was killed at the scene.
Three other adults were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life threatening.
Witnesses told police the driver jumped out of the vehicle after the impact and took off on foot.
