New Baltimore, MI – Tragedy struck early Sunday morning when a 27-year-old man fell off a dock into Lake St. Clair and went under the water around 2:48 a.m.
New Baltimore police officers and firefighters rushed to the scene but were initially unable to locate the man. Multiple agencies joined the search, including the New Baltimore Police patrol boat, Harrison Township Fire Department, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
A short time later, the man was found deceased beneath the water.
The New Baltimore Police Department is handling the investigation. Authorities say no further information is available at this time.
