Major Bust In Wayne County Nets Drugs, Weapons Cash & Cars

On October 30, 2025, the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) executed multiple search warrants in Wayne County following a lengthy investigation into a large-scale drug trafficking operation.

Detectives seized more than 1,000 prescription pills, including alprazolam, hydrocodone, oxycodone, and amphetamine, along with nearly 300 Suboxone strips, 3,300 grams of bulk marijuana, several containers of liquid codeine, and 13 firearms – two of which were reported stolen and one identified as a ghost gun.

Investigators also confiscated over $20,000 in cash, a diamond necklace, a Rolex watch, and three vehicles, all seized with intent to forfeit. Multiple suspects were arrested, with charges to be determined once investigative reports are forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office.

The investigation remains ongoing. COMET was assisted by the Michigan Narcotics Enforcement Team (MNET), Michigan State Police 2nd District Headquarters, and the St. Clair Shores Police Department.
