Taylor Police Net 14 In Child Predator Sting

Taylor, MI – The Taylor Police Department has announced the arrest of 14 men following a series of undercover child predator operations conducted throughout 2025. The coordinated stings were aimed at identifying and intercepting individuals attempting to engage in illegal activity with minors through online communication.

According to Chief of Police John Blair, the operations led to multiple arrests and successful prosecutions, with several suspects already pleading guilty to felony charges related to child exploitation.

The investigations were supported by the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Secret Service, the Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team, and the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Officials said advanced technology—such as Brinc drones, Flock Safety systems, Axon tech, and StarChase—played a major role in tracking, identifying, and apprehending the suspects safely.

Chief Blair emphasized that technology and teamwork remain essential tools in modern policing:

“Technology plays a critical role in protecting our most vulnerable citizens—our children,” Blair said. “By combining advanced tools with strong partnerships across local, state, and federal levels, we’re able to move fast and bring these offenders to justice.”
