Mt. Clemens, MI — A Clinton Township man is headed to court next month in connection with a road-rage incident where shots were allegedly fired from a vehicle in Sterling Heights.
Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that 21-year-old Logan Shea will appear for a Preliminary Exam on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1 p.m. before Judge Kimberley Wiegand in 41A District Court, Sterling Heights.
Police say the situation unfolded on Sunday, November 16, 2025, near 15 Mile Road and Schoenherr, when a caller reported a man in a white Chevrolet Silverado pointing a gun and showing a badge. Officers were provided a license plate and suspect description.
While speaking with the victim, units reported gunfire near 19 Mile Road and Saal, involving what was believed to be the same truck. Investigators tracked the plate to Shea’s home and, with a warrant, recovered a badge and multiple firearms.
Shea faces the following charges:
- Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle — 10-year felony
- Felony Firearm (two counts) — 2-year mandatory consecutive terms
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon — 4-year felony
Lucido said the charges reflect the risk to the public:
“We will not tolerate violence in Macomb County… individuals who endanger others will be held fully accountable.”
Prosecutor Lucido
Shea remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
