DETROIT, MI. – Detroit Police Narcotics officers executed a search warrant on January 20, 2026 in the 15000 block of Stoepel, resulting in one felony arrest and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal drugs and related materials.

During the search, officers recovered the following items:
• Cocaine: 18 grams
• Fentanyl: 89.8 grams, representing more than 44,500 potentially lethal doses
• Suspected narcotics: 727.2 grams of an unknown white powder, forwarded to a laboratory for testing
• $248 in cash
• Drug packaging and processing materials
Police estimate the total street value of the seized narcotics at approximately $10,420.
Detroit Police emphasized that removing fentanyl and other dangerous substances from the streets remains a top priority. Residents are encouraged to report active crimes by calling or texting 911. Non emergency tips can be reported by calling 313-267-4600.
