Warren Woman Charged With Second-Degree Murder in Husband’s Death

A 31-year-old Warren woman is facing a life-felony after prosecutors say she killed her husband inside their home during the early morning hours of January 27.

Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that Moriah Dandrade, 31, was arraigned on Second-Degree Murder and Tampering With Evidence in connection with the death of her husband, James Graham, also 31.

According to authorities, Warren police responded to the couple’s residence and found Graham deceased inside the home along with Dandrade. Prosecutors allege Graham was murdered. Officials say additional facts will be placed on the court record as the case moves forward.

“The allegations in this matter are deeply troubling. Domestic violence happens to both men and women. If you are the victim of domestic violence, call 911 in the event of an emergency. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at (800) 799-7233,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.

Dandrade was arraigned Friday before Judge Michael Chupa in 39th District Court in Warren. The charges she faces include:

• Second-Degree Murder, a felony punishable by life or any term of years in prison
• Tampering With Evidence in a Criminal Case Punishable by More Than 10 Years or Life, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine

Judge Chupa set bond at $500,000 cash or surety. If she posts bond, Dandrade must be placed on a steel cuff GPS tether.

The case will move to a Probable Cause Conference on February 10, 2026, followed by a Preliminary Exam on February 17, 2026, both scheduled for 8:45 a.m. in 39th District Court.

As in all criminal cases, Dandrade is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
