Turning Point USA is going straight at the NFL’s halftime spectacle this Super Bowl Sunday with a competing broadcast headlined by Kid Rock and built around a simple message: faith, family, and freedom.
The nonprofit group announced it will air “The All-American Halftime Show” at approximately 8 p.m. ET on February 8, directly opposite the NFL’s official halftime performance. Alongside Kid Rock, the concert will feature Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. The show is being produced by Turning Point USA as a full-scale alternative to what many conservatives see as an increasingly politicized NFL broadcast.

The move is a direct response to the NFL selecting Bad Bunny to headline its official halftime show. The choice has drawn heavy backlash from conservative figures, including Donald Trump, who previously said he did not even know who Bad Bunny was and called the decision “absolutely ridiculous.”
Bad Bunny has fueled that criticism himself. In a past interview, he said he avoided scheduling U.S. tour dates because of fears that Immigration and Customs Enforcement could be outside his concerts, a statement that lit up conservative media and helped turn him into a political lightning rod ahead of the Super Bowl.
TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said their alternative halftime broadcast is meant to give families a choice, not just more noise.
“This is an opportunity for Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than celebrating faith, family, and freedom,” Kolvet said, describing the production as more intimate and immersive than a distant stadium stage.
The All-American Halftime Show will stream live on Turning Point USA’s YouTube, X, and Rumble channels, and will also air on Sinclair’s CHARGE! OTT network, along with platforms including Daily Wire+, Real America’s Voice, and One America News Network.
As the NFL leans deeper into global pop and culture-war controversy, Kid Rock and Turning Point USA are betting there is still a massive audience that just wants guitars, country, and unapologetic American pride on Super Bowl Sunday.
