Mount Clemens, MI — Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that Andrew Walker, 27, of Detroit, and Deanote Lindsey, 27, of Harper Woods, have been arraigned on multiple felony charges tied to what authorities describe as an organized crime spree targeting work trucks across Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties.
Investigators say the two men systematically targeted contractor vehicles parked in residential driveways and commercial parking lots, striking at various times of day to avoid detection. Prosecutors allege the operation involved at least 17 separate break-ins, with tools, equipment, and work gear stolen from vehicles that tradesmen rely on for their livelihoods.
The case turned violent during one incident when a victim attempted to stop the suspects from fleeing with stolen property. According to the charging documents, one of the men produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim, escalating the crime from theft to a life-threatening armed confrontation.

Charges Against Andrew Walker (27, Detroit)
Walker is charged with the following felonies:
• Armed Robbery – Life or any term of years
• Conducting a Criminal Enterprise – 20-year felony
• Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Felonious Assault) – 4-year felony
Walker was arraigned on Thursday, January 29, 2026, before Magistrate Ryan Zemke in the 41B District Court in Clinton Township. His bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety, and he must wear a GPS tether if released.

Charges Against Deanote Lindsey (27, Harper Woods)
Lindsey faces the same felony counts:
• Armed Robbery – Life or any term of years
• Conducting a Criminal Enterprise – 20-year felony
• Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Felonious Assault) – 4-year felony
Lindsey was arraigned on Monday, February 2, 2026, also before Magistrate Ryan Zemke in the 41B District Court. His bond was set at $500,000 cash or surety, reflecting prosecutors’ view of his alleged danger to the public. He must also wear a GPS tether if released.
Court records show that Deanote Lindsey was already on active probation at the time of his February 2, 2026 arraignment in Macomb County.
Lindsey is currently serving probation in Wayne County stemming from a 2024 plea-based conviction involving two separate felony offenses tied to police encounters:
• Assaulting, Resisting, or Obstructing a Police Officer
• Fleeing and Eluding Police in a Vehicle (Third Degree)
Both plea’s resulted in probation sentences that began April 11, 2024, with a maximum possible term of 2 years on each count.
This means Lindsey was still under court supervision when prosecutors say he participated in the multi-county work-truck theft ring and allegedly took part in an armed confrontation with a victim.
Both defendants are scheduled to appear for a Probable Cause Conference before Judge Sebastian Lucido on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
Lucido praised the joint effort that led to the arrests, crediting the Macomb Auto Theft Task Squad, Clinton Township, St. Clair Shores, Roseville, and Warren Police Departments, the Macomb FBI Violent Crimes Taskforce, and the Troy Special Investigations Unit. He said the coordinated operation appears to have removed two allegedly violent offenders from the streets and disrupted what prosecutors describe as a criminal enterprise operating across three counties.
As with all criminal cases, both Walker and Lindsey are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
