Adrian Pastor Sentenced To 10–15 Years In Prison For Sex Crimes Against Young Boys, Faces Extradition To Louisiana

Adrian, MI — A 77-year-old Adrian pastor will spend at least the next decade in prison after pleading no contest to multiple sex crime charges involving children.

Michael Ronald Goble

Michael Ronald Goble was sentenced on February 6, 2026, to 10 to 15 years in prison following his December 2025 conviction on three counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Second Degree. At least one of the convictions involved a victim under the age of 13. As part of his sentence, Goble will be required to register for life on the Michigan Sex Offender Registry and remain subject to ongoing reporting and monitoring.

Goble was originally charged with eight counts of criminal sexual conduct across three separate cases. Court records show he ultimately pleaded no contest to three of those counts, with the remaining five dismissed at sentencing under the terms of the plea agreement. Authorities said the resolution was intended in part to protect young victims from the trauma of testifying in open court.

Police first arrested Goble in July 2024 after launching an investigation into allegations of abuse. At the time, investigators indicated they believed additional victims may have existed. Locations identified as part of the investigation included the Maurice Spears Juvenile Campus, the Church of the Good Shepherd, and Goble’s home.

Officials say Goble is also wanted in Louisiana, where an arrest warrant has been issued for alleged child molestation. He is expected to be extradited there to face additional charges once the legal process moves forward.

In a public statement, law enforcement praised the victims who came forward, noting that reporting sexual abuse often comes at great personal cost. Authorities described their willingness to speak out as an act of courage that helped bring the case to light and hold the offender accountable.
