Clinton Township, MI → The Clinton Township Police Department announced the successful apprehension of two suspects tied to a December incident at the Tree Lighting Ceremony held at Mall at Partridge Creek, bringing an end to what officials described as a lengthy and complex investigation.

In a statement released by the department, authorities confirmed the arrests were the result of coordinated efforts involving multiple agencies, including the United States Marshals Service, the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force, and the Roseville Police Department.

“Our message is clear: This department, alongside our partners, relentlessly pursues justice,” the release stated. “We extend our gratitude to the United States Marshals Service, the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force, and the Roseville Police Department for their critical roles in this operation.”

The department noted that limited information was intentionally shared with the public during the investigation to avoid jeopardizing the case. Officials said the matter required significant time and coordination, describing it as a complex operation that ultimately led to the suspects being taken into custody.

“We acknowledge this was a complex, lengthy investigation. Limited information was intentionally provided during the process to ensure its success,” the department said. “We now stand firm: Those responsible have been caught.”

The statement also credited the Clinton Township Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and Special Investigations Unit for their work on the case, highlighting their ongoing commitment to protecting the community.

Authorities have not yet released additional details about the suspects or the charges they may face as the case moves forward.
