Sterling Heights Man Charged For Bank Robbery

On July 23, 2025 at approximately 1:28pm it is alleged that 52-year-old Armand David Saroli entered a bank located in Sterling Heights and approached a teller with a note. Saroli then presented the note to the teller allegedly demanding money.

The teller gave Saroli an undisclosed amount of cash and he left the bank. He was later arrested by local police.

On July 24th Saroli was charged with Bank Robbery, a felony punishable by up to life or any number of years in prison.

He was arraigned at the 41A District Court where Judge Annemarie M. Lepore set his bond at $750k cash surety, no 10%. If he posts bond he is to wear a GPS steel cuff tether, not possess any firearms, ammunition or any other weapons. He is also to have no contact with employees of the bank.

“These charges reflect our commitment to holding offenders accountable to the full extent of the law to ensure justice and safety for our businesses and the community as a whole ” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
