Detroit Brothers, Including Twins, Charged In Pennsylvania Cocaine Pipeline Bust

Detroit – Three Detroit brothers are facing serious felony charges in Pennsylvania after authorities say they dismantled an interstate cocaine trafficking pipeline stretching from the Motor City into northwest Pennsylvania.

According to the Office of Attorney General for Pennsylvania, twin brothers Davon Johnson and Davion Johnson, both 25, were arraigned Tuesday on felony corrupt organizations and drug trafficking charges following vehicle stops this week. Bail was set at $100,000 cash each.

A third brother, Keshawn Johnson, 31, has also been charged but is not currently in custody.

Investigators allege the men were involved in a Detroit-to-Pennsylvania drug trafficking operation that funneled cocaine into Erie and Lawrence counties. Authorities say surveillance by the Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation tracked suspected activity originating in Detroit before Pennsylvania State Police conducted coordinated vehicle stops Monday.

Two vehicles traveling into New Castle from Michigan were pulled over, leading to arrests and the seizure of cocaine, according to officials.

Attorney General Dave Sunday said the arrests effectively shut down the pipeline.

“Our efforts to stop drug trafficking networks extend to every corner of the Commonwealth,” Sunday said in a statement. “With our partners, we were able to halt this interstate cocaine trafficking organization and will continue to investigate to ensure all are charged for their roles.”

Also charged is Kelsey L. Parks, who faces felony corrupt organizations and related offenses. Her bail was set at $50,000 cash.

Authorities say additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
