Mount Clemens, MI — A Macomb County jury has convicted 33-year-old Michael Quintana-Dominguez, of Shelby Township, on four counts of First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct following a four-day trial in Macomb County Circuit Court.
On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, jurors found Quintana-Dominguez guilty of three counts of First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct involving a person under 13 where the defendant was 17 years of age or older, and one additional count of First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct involving a victim under 13 years of age.
The felony convictions carry a potential sentence of up to life in prison and include a mandatory minimum term of 25 years.
The trial was held before Judge Joseph Toia in Macomb County Circuit Court. Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jeffrey Plymale handled the case on behalf of the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office.
Quintana-Dominguez remains lodged at the Macomb County Jail. He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 2, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Toia in Mount Clemens.
