ICE Detroit Arrests Violent Cuban National with 2010 Final Removal Order

Detroit, MI – ICE Detroit announced Sunday, March 1, 2026, the arrest of Cuban national Aliosky Rosales Michelena, who has had a final order of removal in place since 2010.

In its post on X, the agency referenced murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault of a person aged 65 or older in connection with Michelena’s criminal history. ICE did not specify whether those offenses are recent or stem from prior convictions.

According to the agency, Michelena’s parents became legal residents of the United States, but he was previously ordered removed following criminal activity in Florida.

ICE Detroit stated he is now back in custody and will be processed for deportation pursuant to the outstanding removal order.
