Roseville Man Arraigned on Charges of Creating Child Sexually Abusive Material, Criminal Sexual Conduct

Mount Clemens, MI – Peter J. Lucido announced that 19-year-old Daniel Jansen of Roseville has been arraigned on multiple felony charges, including Aggravated Child Sexually Abusive Activity, Using a Computer to Commit a Crime, and Second-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct involving a person under 13 years of age.

“The defendant is charged with the alleged creation of child sexually abusive material, using a computer to commit a crime, and the sexual assault of a minor — offenses that cause deep and lasting harm to children. While these remain allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty, our office is committed to seeking justice and protecting the well-being of the minor involved,” Lucido stated.

Jansen was arraigned Monday, March 2, 2026, before Alyia Marie Hakim in the 39th District Court. Judge Hakim set bond at $1 million cash/surety only, no 10%. If released, Jansen must wear a GPS tether and is prohibited from having contact with the complaining victim or anyone under the age of 17.

He is scheduled to appear for a Probable Cause Conference on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Hakim.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Jansen after receiving a tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
