Two suspects are in custody for their alleged roles in the attempted murder of Eddie Jawad on October 14, 2025.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, both suspects, a 39-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, both from Sterling Heights were arrested on Saturday, November 1.
They’re scheduled for arraignment this morning in 41-A District Court in Shelby Township on the following charges:
Suspect A
⌁ Count 1: Conspiracy to Commit Homicide – First Degree Premeditated (Life Felony)
⌁ Count 2: Conspiracy to Commit Embezzlement – Agent or Trustee $1,000 to $20,000 (5-Year Felony)
Suspect B
⌁ Count 1: Embezzlement – $100,000 (20-Year Felony)
⌁ Count 2: Conspiracy to Commit Embezzlement – Agent or Trustee $1,000 to $20,000 (5-Year Felony)
Investigators say a third individual, Jasan Martin, 32, of Eastpointe, has now been charged with:

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office says additional updates will follow after arraignment.
