BREAKING: BARRICADED GUNMAN IN GENESEE COUNTY KILLED BY MICHIGAN STATE POLICE

A barricaded gunman in Otisville which is near Flint in Genesee County has been killed by Michigan State Police.

The situation unfolded when police responded to a home on the 100 block of Main Street in the village center on Thursday afternoon after reports of a domestic violence situation. When police arrived they came to a woman who had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, a 54-year-old male barricaded himself into the residence and refused to speak to police. Police say the suspect was heavily armed and made threats about harming troopers.
