Global superstar Bruno Mars is officially bringing his newly announced The Romantic Tour to Detroit, with a stadium stop set for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Ford Field.
The Detroit date is part of Mars’ first full headlining tour in nearly a decade, following the massively successful 24K Magic World Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 2026 run marks Mars’ first-ever full headlining stadium tour and spans nearly 40 dates across North America, Europe, and the UK.
Detroit fans will see Mars joined by Anderson .Paak, who will appear on all tour dates in his DJ persona DJ Pee .Wee. The Detroit stop will also feature special guest Leon Thomas, according to the tour announcement.
The Romantic Tour builds on an unprecedented stretch of global success for Mars, including his record-breaking international stadium run, historic sold-out shows at the Tokyo Dome, and his role in opening Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome. The tour also arrives ahead of Mars’ long-awaited fourth solo album, The Romantic, scheduled for release on February 27, 2026, via Atlantic Records.
All North American dates on The Romantic Tour are sponsored by MGM Resorts International and The Pinky Ring at Bellagio. Additional support acts on select dates across the tour include Victoria Monét and RAYE, though Detroit’s listed support is Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee and Leon Thomas.
