Country music fans in Detroit will have a major date to circle on the calendar this summer.
Chris Stapleton is returning to Ford Field as part of his All-American Roadshow, with country superstar Lainey Wilson joining him for the stop. Promoters announced Thursday that the concert will take place Aug. 8 at the downtown Detroit venue.
The announcement marked Ford Field’s second concert reveal of the day, following earlier news that Bruno Mars will perform at the stadium on May 9.
Tickets for the Aug. 8 show go on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. Jan. 16 through Ticketmaster. Pre-sales for Citi cardholders, Verizon customers, and members of Stapleton’s fan club begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The Detroit performance is one of nine stadium dates on Stapleton’s 24-city tour, which also includes stops in Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Tampa, and Boston. Singer Allen Stone, known for his song “Consider Me,” will also perform at the Detroit show.
Both headliners are returning to Ford Field. Stapleton last appeared at the stadium in July 2024, sharing the bill with George Strait. Wilson previously performed at Ford Field in April 2023, opening for Luke Combs.
