Confirmed: Body Found Is Pregnant Rebecca Park – Baby Was Not Found With Her

Authorities have confirmed that the body found in the Manistee National Forest on November 25 is that of 22-year-old Rebecca Park, who disappeared earlier this month while 38 weeks pregnant. Law enforcement says her baby was not found with her, and the whereabouts of the newborn are now the primary focus of the investigation.

The official cause of death remains pending, but investigators say information is being tightly held due to the active nature of the case. Multiple agencies, including the Wexford County Sheriffโ€™s Office and Michigan State Police, are searching for the infant.

Sheriff Trent Taylor acknowledged public urgency but warned that details will be limited until more is known:

โ€œWe understand the publicโ€™s desire for details and their demand for justice for Rebecca and her baby. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to seek answers for this tragic situation.โ€

Park was reported missing November 4 after she was last seen getting into a vehicle the evening prior. She remained missing for nearly three weeks before volunteer searchers discovered her body deep in the forest.
