Detroit Man Arrested in Macomb County Narcotics Investigation; Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine and Firearms Seized

Warren, MI — A Detroit man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he was distributing narcotics in and around Warren following a joint investigation by the Macomb County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET).

Roland White, 36, of Detroit, was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, after detectives executed search warrants at a residence in the 18800 block of Moenart Street in Detroit, near 7 Mile Road and Mound Road.

The Sheriff’s Enforcement Team — which includes detectives from both the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office and the Warren Police Department — carried out the operation with assistance from the Detroit Police Department Major Violators Unit.

According to investigators, the search of the residence resulted in the seizure of several narcotics and weapons, including approximately 5 grams of fentanyl, about 16 grams of crack cocaine, a Micro Drago firearm, and a Bushmaster rifle that had been reported stolen out of Indiana. Authorities also recovered magazines and ammunition, $1,971 in U.S. currency, and a Chevrolet Tahoe.

Items seized during the investigation:

• Approximately 5 grams of fentanyl
• Approximately 16 grams of crack cocaine
• Micro Drago firearm
• Bushmaster rifle (reported stolen out of Indiana)
• Magazines and ammunition
• $1,971 in U.S. currency

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said the arrest highlights the department’s commitment to targeting narcotics traffickers operating in the county.

“Those who choose to traffic narcotics in Macomb County should know that we are committed to aggressively investigating and holding them accountable,” Wickersham said. “The distribution of illegal drugs not only destroys lives but also threatens the safety of our neighborhoods. This arrest is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team.”

Warren Police Commissioner Eric Hawkins said the operation demonstrates the effectiveness of cooperation between agencies.

“By combining city and county expertise, we’ve created a seamless network of support,” Hawkins said. “An individual poisoning our community is now off the streets thanks to the combined efforts of our regional resources.”

White was arraigned in the Warren 37th District Court on multiple charges, including five counts of delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance under 50 grams — a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

He is also charged with one count of felony firearm, one count of maintaining a drug house, and two counts of fourth-degree child abuse.
