Detroit Police Seize Over 1.7 Kilos Of Cocaine, Fentanyl, Guns And Cash In Multi-Location Narcotics Raid

DETROIT — Detroit Police narcotics officers executed a series of search warrants across the city on February 11, 2026, leading to a felony arrest and the seizure of large quantities of drugs, firearms, and cash.

According to police, officers carried out three coordinated raids on the 1200 block of Coplin, the 2900 block of Drexel, and the 1300 block of Lakeview as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

During the searches, investigators recovered significant amounts of illegal drugs and other items tied to suspected trafficking activity, including:

  • 1,091.1 grams of cocaine
  • 685.5 grams of fentanyl
  • Three firearms
  • $11,199 in cash
  • Packaging and processing materials, ammunition, and miscellaneous documents

Authorities estimate the combined street value of the seized narcotics at approximately $58,752.50.

Police confirmed that one suspect was taken into custody on felony charges in connection with the investigation. Additional details about the individual and potential charges have not yet been released.

Detroit Police said the operation is part of ongoing efforts to target narcotics distribution and remove illegal weapons from city neighborhoods.
