Detroit Woman Killed After Being Hit Twice Crossing Road In Auburn Hills

A 47-year-old Detroit woman was killed Tuesday night after being hit twice while crossing Opdyke Road north of Pontiac Road.

According to the Auburn Hills Police Department, the crash happened around 9:18 p.m. on October 14. The woman, who was reportedly wearing dark clothing, was crossing the street when she was struck by two separate vehicles. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers involved stopped and are cooperating with investigators. The Southeast Oakland County Crash Investigation Team (SOCCIT), which includes officers from Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Township, Troy, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, and Clawson, is leading the investigation.
