A 6-year-old boy was killed Sunday night in a drive-by shooting in Detroit’s Cadillac Heights neighborhood.
Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison said that gunfire broke out near the intersection of Angling Street and Stender avenue east of I-75. Police say a red Jeep is being sought as a “vehicle of interest” in the shooting. A black-colored sedan may also have been involved.
“Unfortunately, when shots are fired in a residential neighborhood, you don’t know where they’re going to end,” said Bettison.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. You can call 1-800-SPEAK-UP to submit a tip.
