An Eastpointe man is facing multiple felony drug charges after police in Knoxville discovered fentanyl, heroin and marijuana inside a minivan parked at an apartment complex over the weekend.

Torrie Foster

According to the Knoxville Police Department, officers were called Sunday, December 21, 2025 to an apartment complex on Woodlawn Pike after a resident reported a suspicious minivan with Michigan license plates sitting in the lot all day, with people repeatedly getting in and out of the vehicle.

When officers approached the minivan around 6:30 p.m., they found 23-year-old Torrie Foster of Eastpointe seated in the driver’s seat with a backpack in his lap. Police said officers immediately detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

Court records state that a search of the minivan and the backpack led to the discovery of 78.71 grams of suspected marijuana, 25.84 grams of suspected fentanyl and 3.58 grams of suspected heroin.

Foster was taken into custody and charged with manufacture, delivery and sale of Schedule I and Schedule II drugs, along with possession of Schedule VI drugs. He was booked into the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.

Booking records show Foster is facing multiple felony warrants tied to the drug charges. A bond hearing is scheduled for December 23.
