Mount Clemens, MI – The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office and Warren Police Department have announced a joint initiative to combat illegal narcotics and drug-related crime across Macomb County.
The collaboration strengthens the existing partnership between the two agencies, pooling personnel, technology, and intelligence to dismantle trafficking operations and improve community safety.
Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said the partnership will help hold offenders accountable and reduce the impact of opioids and other drugs in local neighborhoods. Commissioner Eric Hawkins called the effort “a strategic and forward-thinking move” that enhances both departments’ reach and effectiveness.
The new task force will coordinate enforcement operations, conduct surveillance, and share intelligence on drug networks operating within and beyond city limits.
