UPDATE: ID’s of 6 suspects arraigned in court for a 20-year felony charge of Prostitution/Transporting Person
Mount Clemens, MI – This afternoon, the following individuals were arraigned at 41A District Court of Shelby Township on the charge of Prostitution/Transporting Person, a 20-year felony:
• James Jones, 24-year-old male from Toledo, OH
• Antonio Morrow, 25-year-old male from Detroit
• Austin Seder, 21-year-old male from St. Clair Shores
• Jacob Ducharme, 39-year-old male from Ira Township
• Alan Lewis, 33-year-old male from Detroit
• Tangelia Smith, 26-year-old female from Southfield.






Bond was set at $50,000 cash/surety, no 10%, for all six individuals.
They all remain lodged at the Macomb County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Mount Clemens — The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET) conducted a covert, targeted enforcement operation this week aimed squarely at human trafficking activity across Metro Detroit.
SET detectives from the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office and the Warren Police Department were assisted by the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau, Macomb Area Computer Enforcement (MACE), Macomb Auto Theft Squad (MATS), and task force officers.
Results of the operation:
- 12 individuals arrested for engaging in commercial sex activity
- Charges pending: Prostitution/Accosting and Soliciting (93-day misdemeanor)
- Processed and released pending charges
- 9 additional individuals arrested for facilitating commercial sexual activity
- Charges pending: Prostitution/Transporting a Person (20-year felony)
- Remain lodged at the Macomb County Jail
“Human trafficking is a serious and disturbing crime that exploits the most vulnerable among us,” said Anthony Wickersham. “These arrests send a clear message that our office will aggressively pursue those who profit from human suffering.”
