A Clinton Township man is facing a long list of felony charges after prosecutors say he carried out a violent armed robbery inside an Eastpointe business, forcing employees and customers to the ground at gunpoint.

According to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, 47-year-old Anthony Terrell Patterson is accused of entering an Eastpointe business on Friday, December 5, 2025, around 5:03 p.m. with five employees and two customers inside. Prosecutors allege Patterson displayed a handgun, ordered everyone to lie on the floor, and then robbed each victim of cash. He is also accused of stealing a driver’s license and a debit card before fleeing the scene on foot. He was later arrested.
Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that Patterson was arraigned on December 23, 2025, in the 38th District Court before Magistrate Mark Makoski.
Patterson is charged with:
- Seven counts of Armed Robbery, each punishable by up to life in prison
- Eight counts of Felony Firearm, each carrying a mandatory two-year prison term to be served consecutively
- One count of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, punishable by up to five years
- One count of Possessing a Firearm as a Prohibited Person, punishable by up to five years
Additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation is ongoing.
Magistrate Makoski ordered Patterson held without bond, and he was immediately remanded to custody. He is scheduled to appear for a Probable Cause Conference before Judge Kathleen Galen on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, at 1 p.m., followed by a Preliminary Examination on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, also at 1 p.m., both at the 38th District Court in Eastpointe.
All of these charges reflect our commitment to holding offenders completely accountable for their actions to the fullest extent of the law to ensure justice and safety for our businesses, their patrons, and the community as a whole.
