We’ve been hearing that the marijuana boom in Michigan may be coming to an end and if July sales are any indication then those rumors are proving to be true.
Sales in Michigan on an annual basis from July 2024 – July 2025 dropped a staggering 8.8% which resulted in sales of $262.3 Million.
While the number is a large drop, it’s not the largest of all states on a percentage basis. Arizona saw its sales drop 11.1%.
As for the “race” between California and Michigan for #1 in sales? California did see a sales increase of 0.8% for revenue of $398.5 Million.
That placed California first and Michigan second. The next closest state in revenue are those snowbirds down in Florida which jumped the state to $227.9 Million.
