ROSCOMMON COUNTY, MI – A Michigan woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the sexual assault of a minor following an investigation by Michigan State Police.
According to authorities, troopers began investigating an alleged sexual assault on December 3, 2024. The incident reportedly occurred in Prudenville in March 2023 and involved a 15-year-old victim.
Following the investigation, a warrant was issued for Kristina Whiteman, 48, of Alma. Whiteman was arrested on January 7 and lodged in the Roscommon County Jail without incident.
Whiteman was arraigned on January 8 in the 82nd District Court in Roscommon County on two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct Third Degree involving a victim between the ages of 13 and 15. She was issued a $50,000 cash or surety bond.
Her next scheduled court appearance is set for January 21 at 9:00 a.m.
