A Michigan woman has been hailed as a hero after jumping into action after a passenger on a flight from Florida to Grand Rapids suffered cardiac arrest and required CPR.
Amanda Griffin was on a flight from Florida to Grand Rapids on July 29th when a male passenger suffered a heart attack. Online reports and witness statements say that Griffin immediately jumped into action and began performing CPR on the man.
The flight was just 18 minutes into its trip when the man suddenly collapsed on the airline. Amanda Griffin, from Mt. Pleasant jumped into action, took control of the situation and began the life saving measures.
Online reports from those on the flight say the passenger was comforted on the flight by other passengers and was met at the gate for further medical treatment upon landing in Grand Rapids.
