A 31 year old man from Pontiac is in critical condition after a serious crash Monday evening.

Deputies said the collision happened just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Huron Street (M-59) and Chippewa. A 54 year old driver of a Buick Regal turned left onto Chippewa and into the path of the motorcycle. The rider struck the vehicle and was thrown from his bike.

The motorcyclist was transported to McLaren Oakland Hospital where he remains in critical condition. The driver of the Buick was also hospitalized with injuries that are not life threatening.
