Federal and local officers seized 177 kilograms of cocaine, potentially worth between $10.6 million and $35.4 million on the street, after monitoring two commercial trucks in St. Clair County on November 25, 2025, according to authorities. The valuation range is based on May 2025 pricing estimates published by Paramount Recovery Centers, which report cocaine typically selling for $60 to $200 per gram in the United States depending on purity, cutting, and regional market conditions.
Members of the Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) North first observed the two Canadian plated commercial vehicles at a truck stop shortly before 6:30 p.m., where they later separated and departed in different directions.
One traveled toward the Blue Water Bridge, where officers conducted an inspection with the assistance of Warren Police K9 Argo. The search resulted in the discovery of the 177 kilogram shipment and immediate enforcement action.

The second vehicle was stopped after officers observed repeated lane swerving, and St. Clair County Sheriff’s K9 Brock issued a positive alert during a free air sniff, prompting a full search by task force personnel.
The operation involved members of the Port Huron Police Department, Warren Police Department, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Canada Border Services Agency. Customs and Border Protection assisted in placing a suspect into custody at the bridge.
Sheriff Mat King praised the multi agency effort, saying:
“Thank you to the law enforcement officers involved in this case for their dedication to disrupting the dispersal of narcotics into the community. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office prioritizes community safety and multi jurisdictional task forces allow departments to achieve more by combining skills, resources and knowledge.”
