On December 5, 2025 a child almost paid the price because a driver couldn’t be bothered to stop for a school bus in Romulus, Michigan. That’s not a “mistake.”
That’s reckless and it could have been deadly.
When those red lights flash and that stop sign swings out, you stop. No excuses. No shortcuts. Our kids’ lives depend on it.
Romulus Police and Romulus Community Schools are reviewing every bus camera, and anyone who blows past a school bus will be identified and held accountable.
Children shouldn’t have to dodge cars to get home safely.
