The Michigan State Police are asking for the public to be on alert for a man in his 30’s who impersonated a utility worker and assaulted a homeowner in Bagley Township on Wednesday evening.
According to the MSP the homeworner reported that they heard a knock on their door Wednesday evening at about 9:25pm
. When they answered a male in his 30’s identified himself as a worker for a powerline company. The male told the homeowner that their power would be shut off the next day.
The suspect then allegedly asked to enter the home
. The homeowner refused which resulted in the suspect attacking the homeowner. The homeowner was able to shut and lock their door and then call police.
The suspect fled the scene in a 2009-2010 black, older-style pickup, possibly being a Chevrolet or GMC with LED headlights. ![]()
