HARRISON TOWNSHIP, MI — A late-night multi-agency response ended with several arrests after deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle traveling along I-94 in Macomb County.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were alerted at approximately 11:21 p.m. on December 16, 2025, after the Michigan State Police reported an alleged stolen vehicle being actively tracked eastbound on Interstate 94 near 12 Mile Road.

Deputies located the vehicle near North River Road in Harrison Township and attempted a traffic stop using lights and sirens. The driver refused to comply and continued fleeing, prompting deputies to use strategic vehicle positioning and tire deflation devices.

The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle was disabled near Joy Boulevard on westbound I-94. The driver ultimately pulled over on the left shoulder near North River Road. Authorities say all occupants were taken into custody without incident.

The driver, a 22-year-old man from Warren remains lodged at the Macomb County Jail, where charges are being sought by the Sheriff’s Office. Michigan State Police took custody of the remaining three occupants on related charges.
