TROY POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN AUGUST TAPHOUSE STABBING

Troy, MI – The Troy Police Department has arrested 26-year-old Dquavion Lamariee Broome in connection with a stabbing that happened on August 30, 2025, outside Sedona Taphouse at 198 E. Big Beaver Road in Troy.

Investigators say Broome allegedly stabbed another adult male during an altercation in the parking lot. The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. Police determined the two men knew each other and that this was not a random attack.

After the incident, detectives learned Broome had left the state. With help from the FBI Violent Crime Task Force, officers located and arrested him when he returned to Michigan on October 9, 2025.

Broome was arraigned in 52-4 District Court on October 10 and charged with Assault With Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm Less Than Murder. His bond was set at $500,000.

The Troy Police Department thanked the FBI Violent Crime Task Force for their assistance in the investigation.
