ROSCOMMON COUNTY, MI — Two men were arrested after Michigan State Police troopers seized suspected cocaine during a late-night traffic stop in Richfield Township earlier this week.

According to the Michigan State Police, troopers from the Houghton Lake Post stopped a vehicle traveling northbound on I-75 at approximately 11:03 p.m. on February 2 for a traffic violation. During the roadside investigation, troopers located and seized approximately 18 grams of suspected cocaine. Additional drug paraphernalia was also found inside the vehicle.
The driver, Aaron Seitman, 47, of Atlanta, and the passenger, Shawn MacDonald, 43, of Gaylord, were taken into custody and lodged at the Roscommon County Jail.
Both men were arraigned on February 4 in the 82nd District Court on one count of Controlled Substance – Possession of Cocaine, Heroin, or Other Narcotic Less Than 50 Grams. Court records show their next scheduled appearance is set for February 18 at 9:00 a.m.
