On Sunday night, October 5, around 10:10 p.m., troopers were called to the eastbound I-96 ramp to Greenfield after a woman was spotted lying along the shoulder.
When police arrived they found a Black female in her 30s face down on the ramp shoulder. She was conscious but only semi coherent. Doctors reported she had an abrasion on her left hip and road rash on her back.
Several witnesses had already stopped to help and told investigators they did not see her get struck by a vehicle. It remains unclear if she was hit by a car or possibly assaulted and pushed out of one.
The woman has not yet been identified. She is described as a Black female in her 30s, 5’1 to 5’3, about 130 pounds and may wear a light red or pink wig.
If you have information on her identity or what happened call Michigan State Police at 734-287-5000.
