UPDATE 1/25/2026:
The Roseville Police Officer is out of the hospital, home and resting comfortably with his family, according to a statement released by the Roseville Police Department.
A tense situation unfolded in Roseville on Friday, January 23rd when an officer responding to a home was shot by an alleged male suspect who then barricaded themselves into a home. Police moved in swiftly using a battering ram to destroy the front of the house.
The suspect surrendered at 7:42pm EST. The video here shows the surrender.



The officer on the Roseville Police Department is said to be OK.
The suspect had a flag of “Oh Lawd He Treadin'” which is said to be people “poking fun at gun culture, anti-government posturing” or “tough-guy symbolism.”
