RIVERVIEW, Mich. — A Wayne County woman says she nearly fell out of her chair after learning she had won $25,000 a year for life playing the Lucky For Life lottery game.

Denise Boden of Riverview won the top prize after her ticket matched all five white balls drawn on Dec. 12: 06, 20, 23, 30, and 36. The winning ticket was purchased at George’s Liquor, located at 13826 Sibley Road in Riverview, about 10 miles south of Dearborn.
“I just started playing Lucky For Life about six months ago,” Boden said. “I checked my ticket the morning after the drawing and saw I matched three numbers, then four, and when I realized I had all five white balls, I scanned my ticket on the app. When $390,000 came up on the screen, I about fell out of my chair.”
Boden, 70, recently visited lottery headquarters to claim her prize. She chose to receive her winnings as a one time lump sum payment of $390,000 rather than $25,000 a year for 20 years or life, whichever is greater.
With her winnings, Boden said she plans to take a trip with her husband.
