Macomb County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the death of a woman found early Tuesday morning behind a dumpster on North Main Street.
Deputies were dispatched around 3:48 a.m. after a waste disposal driver discovered the individual while attempting to empty the dumpster. The woman was later identified as Moneque Cook, 53-year-old, of Eastpointe, and she was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
The Macomb County Sheriffs Office tells us there is no threat to the public and the investigation remains ongoing.
